14 Tribes Living In Total Health! How Do They Live, Part 3
April 2010 News Letter by Eldore Hanni

80 years ago, during the year 1930, Dr Weston A Price, a dentist from Ohio, began his journey around the world with his wife by his side, to study the world’s healthiest people. He found 14 tribal people living in total health. They lived peacefully and in excellent physical, mental and emotional health. They had no need for law enforcement police, jails, or hospitals. The first tribe he visited were the isolated Loetschberg Valley tribe living in a valley between the mountains in Switzerland.. They consumed only locally produced food. Basically raw milk, raw milk cheese, whole grain rye bread, potatoes and cabbage in the form of sour kraut. From there he continued his journey to the remote islands of England and on to Alaska and northern Canada. In every tribe he found people living in total health as long as they consumed their original tribal home grown food. Dr Price then traveled to the islands of the South Pacific including New Zealand where tribal people consumed Shell and Tropical fish, root vegetables and tropical fruit.

Now Dr Price and his wife traveled more than 6000 miles through the continent of Africa.. Most of these tribal people consumed raw dairy products, fish, organ meat, and eggs of certain species. Yet again, as long as they avoided western food consuming only their tribal food, they had excellent body physique and dental arches with less than 1 % tooth decay. They also were almost totally free of any degenerative diseases. One of Dr Prices last journeys was to Peru South America. Here he visited the ancient tribe of Incas He studied more than 1000 skulls of the Incas. He did not find one dental arch deformity. All tribal foods provided up to 4 times the fat soluble vitamins and minerals available from the food of commerce. Even body form and facial pasterns changed abruptly along with degenerative diseases when any of the tribal people began eating our western food. For additional information, please check out

So what can we learn from Dr Weston A Prices research? Following are some suggestions;
1. Avoid all commercial processed food including white sugar, white flour products , junk food snacks, force fed animal meat, and pasteurized foods including pasteurized dairy products and cheese.
2. Use only fermented whole grains (soaked in water 24 hours prior to cooking or baking)
3 Use only original grains like Spelt, Millet, Barley, Rye, Kamut, etc.(no GMO) always use a blend of grain for a synergistic multiplication of energy and nutrition. (This is so very important!)
4. Always use a raw fermented drink ( like kefir, yogurt, Kombucha, apple cider vinegar, or grain drink prior or with each meal for better assimilation of food.
5. Eat grass fed organ meat and grass fed raw milk cheese at least two or three times per week.
